Fishing Information

We have well stocked lakes on the park with a variety of fish including, Carp, Bream ,Tench ,Perch, Roach and Rudd as well as a 200 metre section of the River Great Ouse which can also be fished by our residents in season. Please note that there is no closed season on the lakes when the touring park is open. 

Some of the lakes have touring pitches adjacent to them, so you can fish by your unit. 

Fishing tarrif:

Visitors (OF RESIDENTS ONLY - by arrangement)

Lakeside only 8.00 per day (regardless of duration)

Residents of tourers or tents 

Lakeside  5 per day (regardless of duration)

Fishing on riverbank  ~Residents only   

5 per day (regardless of duration)

Fishing Rules

  • Fishing is for residents only. Residents visitors may fish by prior arrangement
  • All anglers must be in possession of current Environment Agency Licence 

  • Fishing commences at 7.30 am for residents. 8.30 am for visitors and finishes at dusk, (when the street lights start to come on.)  No night fishing.

  • Unhooking mats and landing nets must be used and dipped and rinsed before use.  No keepnets

  • Prohibited Baits:   No nuts of any kind

    •                     No dog biscuits

    •                     No artificial baits e.g. plastic sweetcorn

    •                     Maximum of 1 kilo (2 pounds) groundbait

  • Prohibited Methods:  No spodding

    •                      No barbed hooks

    •                      No fixed method or swim feeders - free running  type only

    •                      No bait boats

    •                      No braided main line - hook length only

  • Anglers may use a maximum of 2 rods which must be attended at all times when hook is in the water.

  • Anglers must not fish beyond the centre of the lake.

  • All fish must be returned to the water immediately

  • All equipment must be removed from the lakeside at the end of the fishing day, except for swims immediately behind lakeside pitches.

Anyone found disobeying the rules may be asked to leave immediately.

All persons fishing do so at their own risk - the management accepts no responsibility for injury or loss or damage to cars or equipment.
